Immigration is a key flashpoint for racial prejudice in our community, with new residents often facing discrimination in schools, workplaces, and even on the streets.
Our work aims to disrupt these biases by fostering compassion and mutual understanding among people from diverse backgrounds. Through the joy of hospitality, curiosity, and empathy, we engage the community in meaningful connections.
We have organized civic leader roundtables, welcome kit programs, emergency housing, and relief for migrant families, along with other grassroots efforts to build local community capacity and foster racial understanding and acceptance. In addition, we’ve hosted educational exhibits, multicultural celebrations, and engaged in public planning and investment discussions. We remain committed to advocating for stronger cooperation between civic, charitable, and faith-based initiatives to better support local migrants.
